We are looking for a driven Legal Counsel / Debt Collection Specialist to strengthen our international legal team. In this role, you will take the lead in managing complex collection cases and advising cross-border clients, with a focus on Italian legal matters. What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of complex debt collection files from start to finish—both extrajudicial and judicial;
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, debtors, and legal stakeholders in Italy and across Europe;
• Advise Dutch, Italian, and international companies on cross-border debt recovery and contractual disputes;
• Collaborate with our Italian Desk—an experienced team of Dutch and Italian legal professionals specializing in international commercial and procedural law;
• Contribute to the growth of our international legal practice by sharing insights and improving internal processes.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Italian law or a closely related legal field;
• 0–3 years of experience in legal or debt collection practice (recent graduates welcome to apply);
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English; knowledge of Dutch is a strong advantage;
• A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude and an interest in sustainability and corporate responsibility;
• Comfort working in a multicultural, international team environment.
